Making home cooking easier, healthier and more enjoyable — with expert-written content, tested recipes and AI-powered tools.
MyCookingCalendar was founded in 2025 by a small team of food enthusiasts, software engineers and nutrition researchers based across Europe. The idea came from a simple frustration: the internet is full of recipe sites drowning in ads, and health apps that give generic advice with no connection to real food.
We wanted one place where you could browse hundreds of tested recipes, track your health goals, get AI-powered meal suggestions personalised to your ingredients and preferences, and read science-backed articles written by qualified nutrition experts — all working together intelligently.
We launched with a focused library of curated world recipes and have grown to over 500 recipes from 27 cuisines, paired with a nutrition blog written by registered dietitians, food scientists and professional chefs. Every piece of content we publish goes through the same editorial process: research, test, review, publish.
Recipes from 27 world cuisines, each with full ingredients, step-by-step instructions, macros and nutrition information.
Tell us what ingredients you have and we'll suggest the best recipes. Reduces food waste and saves time.
Ask any cooking question, get substitution ideas, scaling advice, technique tips and personalised meal plans.
Science-backed articles on intermittent fasting, plant-based eating, cooking techniques, and food growing — written by credentialed experts.
Track 6 evidence-based intermittent fasting protocols with timers, history and progress charts.
Log meals, track calories and macros with our integrated nutrition database and food photo analysis.
Every recipe in our library is researched and written with care. We verify ingredient quantities, cooking times and techniques before publication. Recipes include full nutritional analysis calculated per serving. We update recipes when we receive feedback that something needs improving.
Our nutrition and health articles are written by credentialed contributors including registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), PhD nutritional scientists, professional chefs and certified sports nutritionists. Every claim is referenced to peer-reviewed research. We cite primary sources — not other blogs.
We distinguish clearly between established scientific consensus and emerging research. Health and nutrition articles include a medical disclaimer: the content is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
We believe readers deserve to know how a site they trust makes money. Here is our full answer:
