Terms of Use

By accessing or using MyCookingCalendar — the mycookingcalendar.com website and the MyCookingCalendar mobile application (together, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the European Economic Area, to use the Service. MyCookingCalendar provides recipe content, AI-generated suggestions, meal-planning tools, pantry and shopping features and cooking guidance for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, mirror, reproduce or redistribute our content without permission.
• Use automated tools in ways that overload, disrupt or degrade the Service.
• Submit content that infringes rights, defames any person, contains hate speech, sexual content involving minors or otherwise violates law.
• Upload malware or code designed to interfere with the Service.
• Probe or bypass authentication, rate-limiting, quota or security measures.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or pyramid schemes.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person.
• Use the Service to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models without prior written consent.
• Interfere with advertising shown on the Service through illicit means.
• Reverse engineer any part of the Service except where permitted by law.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access, and we may report violations to law-enforcement authorities where appropriate.

The Service uses AI to generate recipe suggestions, meal plans, chat responses and photo-based grocery and pantry analysis. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, unsuitable ingredient combinations, hallucinated facts, incorrect nutritional or allergen information, or unsafe instructions. Results are for inspiration only.

Although we apply a safety step that tries to filter suggestions against the allergens and ingredients you tell us to avoid, this filtering is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. Always use your own judgement and verify ingredients and labels regarding food safety, allergens, dietary needs and cooking temperatures. Never rely on AI-generated content for decisions affecting a medical condition or a serious allergy.

Parts of the Service are offered through an optional paid subscription (Pro). In-app subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to that store's terms; website purchases are handled by our web payment provider.

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google store account, not through us; disabling auto-renew stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
• Prices, currencies and available plans may vary by region and may change; material changes will be communicated as required.
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the applicable app store or payment provider. Except where required by mandatory consumer law, payments are non-refundable.
• Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.

You may submit recipes, ratings, comments, photos or other content. By submitting content, you grant MyCookingCalendar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, display and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

• You must own the rights to the content or have permission to submit it.
• Your content must not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material.
• Recipes you submit must be original or properly attributed where based on traditional or public-domain sources.
• We may remove, edit or refuse to publish content at our discretion.

Content on MyCookingCalendar, including recipes, photographs, illustrations, text, logos, software and design, is owned by or licensed to MyCookingCalendar and protected by intellectual-property laws.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to dmca@mycookingcalendar.com including the copyrighted work, the URL of the material, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement and your signature.

The website is supported in part by advertising and affiliate revenue. We display ads through Google AdSense and related Google advertising products and may participate in affiliate programmes. The current version of the mobile app does not display third-party advertising; the app is supported by optional subscriptions.

Editorial recommendations are independent. Our reviews and recipe rankings are not influenced by commercial relationships, and we do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you download it from.

• Your use of the App must also comply with the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms of service.
• The App is provided by MyCookingCalendar, not by Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content and provide no warranty for it.
• Where you obtain the App from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any maintenance, support and product-liability obligations, and any claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, are our responsibility and not Apple's, to the extent required by Apple's standard licence terms.

The Service provides recipes, nutritional estimates, AI suggestions and general cooking information for educational and informational purposes only. Content is not medical, nutritional, dietary, allergy or professional advice. Nutritional information is approximate and may vary.

The Service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that recipes will produce specific results, that nutritional or allergen information is exact, or that AI-generated content is accurate. You are responsible for verifying ingredients and food safety before cooking or eating.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCookingCalendar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated content or recipe information.

You agree to defend and indemnify MyCookingCalendar against claims, liabilities and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms or your violation of third-party rights.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, suspected abuse or legal obligation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, disputes are submitted to the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms and changing the Last updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
